Who We Are
Jayadharani is a trained vocalist, experienced tutor, and passionate advocate for ancient Tamil music. Born and raised in the culturally rich town of Kumbakonam, she began her Carnatic music journey at a young age and blossomed into a performing artist, gracing Katcheris across Tamil Nadu. Her talent was recognized early when she won a prestigious state award at the age of 13 in a high-level music competition.
With years of experience teaching through various online platforms, Jayadharani now brings her vision to life through her own platform—OTM (Online Tamil Music). Dedicated to nurturing the next generation, OTM brings the magic of Carnatic-style Tamil music to all ages, combining tradition, creativity, and joyful learning
Our Mission
OTM (Online Tamil Music) is devoted to preserving and promoting the timeless beauty of Tamil Carnatic music among young learners across the globe. Rooted in the rich traditions of Tamil Nadu, OTM offers a unique platform for all ages to immerse themselves in the sacred sounds of Thiruppugazh, Thevaram, Thiruppavai, and other classical Tamil compositions. Our mission is to make ancient Tamil musical wisdom both accessible and engaging for today’s generation through structured, joyful, and culturally enriched lessons. By combining traditional vocal training with modern teaching methods, we ensure that each student not only learns music but connects deeply with Tamil heritage. OTM seeks to awaken a sense of pride, identity, and spiritual connection through the art of devotional singing.
